Dear Isle Cook family,

As you all know, our Isle Cook events are held for a charitable purpose to benefit the Fleming Street Faith Center, a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization. We rely exclusively on community support to enable our continued contribution to the Key West cultural landscape. Although we believe that food can be a tremendous comfort in trying times, the safety of our Isle Cook community is paramount to our cause. With the current uncertainties surrounding COVID-19, we have decided to postpone all of the dinners and wine tastings for the month of March to do our part to ensure that our staff and customers remain healthy and safe.

We have refunded all of the tickets purchased for the remaining dinners and wine tastings this month. If you have tickets for wine tasting dates in April and would like a refund, please contact us at islecookkeywest@gmail.com and we will refund you without question.

We’ll let you know when we’re back up and running. In the meantime, we wish you good health and safety in these uncertain times.

Sincerely,
Isle Cook and the Fleming Street Faith Center

As you may have heard, Bill and Eden Brown closed Isle Cook on Whitehead Street this summer. We are so honored to carry forward their wonderfully creative addition to Key West’s culinary scene under the remarkable direction of chef Martha Hubbard and me, Daniel McCurdy, as Sommelier. The dinners will be in a different format and for what we believe is a worthy cause for Key West.

We are pleased to announce that as of September, chef Martha has become the Executive Chef for the Fleming Street Faith Center, a 501(c)(3) organization, which will be dedicated to teaching children practical skills like cooking. Martha will now not only continue to host the dinners and wine tastings you all have grown to love, but she will also teach children valuable lessons in nutrition and cooking. All proceeds from Isle Cook events will go to the Fleming Street Faith Center. We'll update you as our plans progress, but we hope that Isle Cook and the Fleming Street Faith Center will become philanthropic hubs in the Key West community.

The church is currently being renovated, so all interim dinners are being held in a beautiful Conch home at 908 Fleming Street. We will keep you updated on the status of the renovation as it progresses.

You can expect our usual Monday event update emails, with details about continuing this savory Key West tradition. I am looking forward to seeing you all and dining together for a wonderful purpose in the years to come.

"Most Fun on the Island"
[5 out of 5 stars] - October 2017

The cooking demonstrations, meals and wine tastings at Isle Key West are a great experience and one of the hidden jewels on the Island. Don't miss them when you are there. They sell out quickly, though, so be sure to sign up early, before you get there. Don't miss it.
